Ceci Sirena (aka Cecile Pitre) has always loved moving since childhood. As a little
girl, she imagined herself as a beautiful gypsy or a siren undulating on the waves.

She learned and improved since 2 decades, arts of dancing, particularly bellydance,
but also several other types dance. Because of her bellydance knowledge, it’s
normal for her to do hoopdance, She has a strong body move comprehension. She
is a great facilitator. She loves using props in dance: hoop, veils, poi, staff, Isis wings
and others. She loves workout or dance with music that gives strong emotion. She
gives everything and her heart also. She’s so passionate and artistic. She practice in
her home aerial yoga also.

It’s only in 2008 that she discovered hoopdance as it is practiced today. She felt
passionately in love with this beautiful art. It hooked her so much for the great
connection with dance, creativity and childhood sense of play. She found that it
was a form of meditation that calms her after a busy day. Hooping gives her
happiness and calm.

She taked curses in Montreal with beautiful and generous teachers, including
learning hoops with fire. She also taked curses online. After some years, she began
to teach children and adults in Shawinigan for sharing her passion and love. She
also performed shows at festival and dance show.
